The Grove Medical Centre offers all its services on a private patient basis to those who are not registered at the Centre. The Centre has the state of the art technology to provide an efficient and up to date clinical service from its modern premises.
The practice team consists of experienced doctors, practice nurses and an administrative team which looks after all the needs of all private patients.
The practice offers the following services to private patients
- A comprehensive range of general practice (primary care) medical services.
- Acupuncture treatment. This is particularly helpful for chronic painful conditions, migraine and painful periods.
- Minor surgery service including cryotherapy for warts, joint injections and excision of lumps and other skin lesions
- Family Planning Service including prescribing of contraceptive tablets and injections, and the insertion of coils (IUCD). The practice also offers emergency contraceptive services.
- Screening programme for sexually transmitted disease and cervical cancer.
- Screening programme for heart attack and stroke.
- Travel immunisation (vaccination) service including advice and prescriptions for specific travel medications.
